Relationships

Joan of Arc

Main article: Joan of Arc

Anastasia and Joan appear to be each other's polar opposites, the former cool and collected and the latter hot-tempered and rash. At times this contrast leads to disagreements between the two, especially on the subject of the Drifters. Yet despite their differences, Rasputin implies that Shimazu Toyohisa's treatment of Joan nevertheless angered Anastasia—a suggestion that the grand duchess immediately denies.
